Website changes in response to analytics results?

I was told that, during the development stage, clients are usually allowed 2 free changes by website developpers and that, after these 2 free changes, clients must pay an hourly rate.

What happens when the developper continues to monitor the site's analytics and sees a need to make changes? Specifically, is the client expected to pay for those changes? If so, at what rate? An hourly amount?Website changes in response to analytics results?I wouldn't assume that your web developer will automatically review your analytics and suggest changes for you. You should expect to pay for any changes that are made to your site after it is approved and put online, whether you initiate them or your web developer does. And I would expect to pay an additional fee for analytics monitoring.

Some web developers will offer a web maintenance agreement where you pay a flat fee for unlimited updates to your site during the contract period. Sometimes an hourly rate makes more sense.

Hourly rates for web development can vary widely depending on the vendor. Your web developer should specify the hourly rate for updates in the web development agreement.

Good luck!
