How long does it take to change a website template?

i want to move the main menu of my website from the side (vertical) to the top (horizontal) and i want to make sure my webmaster is not gonna overcharge me coz he told me it takes 4 hours - can anyone tell how long this job might take? my webmaster worked my website from scratch and knows all the ins and outs of it. its a basic htm format.How long does it take to change a website template?Depends on the number of pages and how the side menu was first coded. If one page, it shouldn't take more than two hours or less. If you have many, many pages, it could fully take 4 hours or more.



If it is a nav menu for your site, might be better to set up Server Side Includes (SSI) so that any future additions/deletions can be made only to the include file. It will then show corrections on all pages once uploaded and it overwrites the old include file.

How long does it take to change a website template?
It really depends on how complex the rest of the site it. Moving navigation from one site to another is easier than moving it from the side to the top.



Once you move it to the top, there is a high chance you have to reformat things below it.
