The guy who built my website has changed the password so I cant get into it. How can I fix this?

I had to fire the guy who originally built my website. While he was in jail, I changed the administrative passwords. He got out of jail a couple of days ago and now I am locked out of my own website. Can't get customers orders, receive payments, etc. Someone PLEASE HELP!!The guy who built my website has changed the password so I cant get into it. How can I fix this? You can always contact the hosting company and prove you are the owner of the site. Each company has different standards on what kind of info you have to supply.

Wow what a jerk was that guy. You'll have to take it to a shop or someone who went to college and knows the ins and outs of computers' and get all your info changed and have your internet server change your IP as he can get back in there like he just did and screw you real good.I would report him also as this kook sounds dangerous.I had a stalker like him and he corrupted my files changed all my info and erased my pictures and valuable info' and when he was done i got the blue screen of death and my computer was total junk' never to work again. Good luck and be careful from that nut case.

Question doesn't make any sense.
You have to remember that who ever builds you website always leave a backdoor so that they can get is and mess things up... And what is happening to you is is because you trusted someone that was in jail to help you and now he feels that you owe him something... Well I am sorry to say this but I strongly don't recommend that you give in to him for he will take every Advantage of you that he can and he will rob you until you go blind so you have to take your computer to a decent programmer and have him or her remove all of his backdoor and pass words before he takes over your business........ And I am sorry to say this but you can never trust someone that is locked up ever again........ Because if he was in jail for stealing why would you believe that he is above stealing from you............... I really wish you well but hurry up and get rid of that data base before he seals all of your business...........
