I could be sitting playing a game or youtube and then suddenly bam! a pop up will replace youtube or my game or bebo or whatever!
I have ran norton it says no viruses?
This started happening after i downloaded msn plus. but i undownloaded that!
Any ideas?Website randomly changing to a pop up? help?First mistake is using Norton. It used to be the number one antivirus but has been hacked to death. Over the last year or so it improved but is still waaaaayyy bad. I would get a better antivirus software package, install it a nd run a complete scan. I use Panda Titanium: it is inexpensive, realllly easy to use and bulletproof.....seriously. Once it is installed, Panda or most other AV software will have a %26quot;remote scan%26quot; feature that will scan your computer from THEIR website in case a virus has corrupted your antivirus software, made registry changes, etc. But even Norton's remote scan sucks so don't use them. You DO have a virus, guaranteed. Uninstalling a program will not get rid of a virus; you need antivirus software to squash it.
