the website i want to go to doesn't let me watch the videos because it says i'm not in their region, how can i change how the website reads where i am at?What makes a website know where you are?It knows based on your IP address. If you fake it, you are violating the ToU. Don't do it.

It uses your i.p address to work out the country you are in.

Use a proxy server based in the country the site you want to view is located so you can fool the i.p filters (the site gets the proxys i.p instead of yours) and pretend to live there.

firefox has an addon called foxyproxy http://foxyproxy.mozdev.org/ that does the job nicely.
