When you make changes on your website, how long before Google search results reflect those changes?

I have been interlinking and making allot of external links to my website this week. When I go to google's webmaster tools area, those links are not reflected. Google says it crawls your site every couple of minutes, but changes I make improving my website usually take a couple of weeks to make a ranking difference.

Also, if anyone has suggestions on how I might improve this site, I am much appreciative:

I suggest you open a Google webmasters tool account https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/鈥?/a> -- it can show you when Google last crawled your pages, if there are any errors in the crawling, how Google sees your site, keywords where you get the most clicks, who's linking to each page on your site, submit a sitemap, etc. It's a great tool that's free to use and can help you understand Google and get top rankings

I looked at your site, and there is still room for improving site design. Check your spelling -- %26quot;100% Gaurantee%26quot; is misspelled.

Google, PR (Page Ranking), is different than how it indexes your site.

Your site may rank higher in the search engines for certain terms, based on the way that you change your site, and it might take a couple of hours, or a couple of days (depending on how often your site is crawled of course).

Page Rank (which you find with your google toolbar), is only updated once every 3 months or so.

There is a formula (which we don't get to know because google doesn't want people to cheat the process). But, as far as some of us has figured out, it takes an average of all the site it indexes in 3 months, and ranks them based on certain criteria.

I am a member of this particular forum

and it has been a great resource in understanding all search engines, not just google.

By the way, PR has little to do with how well you do for your search engine results, it's all about origional content, backlinks, and how well you construct your internal linking structure that helps your PR.

Actually link building is a process that takes a while before you will see the benefits. If you're seeing a difference in a few weeks, that's actually good.

Now, when you refer to ranking - do you mean Page Rank or your keyword rankings on the SERPs? Since Google has recently changed their Page Rank algorithm, I wouldn't count on the page rank increasing much for a long while. Keyword rankings on the other hand, do take a few weeks to improve.
