Powweb has the best offer right now. It's on a 50% sale - $3.88/month ($46.56/year), and you get a free domain from them.

They support easy, one click install of Wordpress and a lot more blog solutions through their control panel, but I recommend Wordpress.

Ok, so how can you transfer your site.

1. When you go to Sign Up choose %26quot;Use an existing domain%26quot; and enter your domain. (you could transfer it from your old registrar to Powweb)

2. Install Wordpress on your new account, go to settings and import your blogger blog (they support that).

3. Choose a theme that you like (there are thousands of themes for Wordpress), a couple plugins if you want to and start adding content.

I recommend Wordpress because it's the most popular blogging software, used by majority of top bloggers, they have a huge community, with thousands of themes, guides, tutorials and plugins, and since you get a real hosting you have total flexibility, you can change whatever you want or even install something completely different.
Changing from blogger to another site host?
Hi there,

I agree, Blogger is limited. I use Wordpress myself and is more flexible to change out the templates to customize the design you want.

If you are interested in Wordpress, you can find a webhost (there are tons out there) that offers an auto-install with Wordpress.

Then go to the place (registrar) where you bought your domain name from and then within the their control panel interface, all you need to do is change the primary name server and secondary name server information of your new host. The name server information is given in your setup email once your new hosts sets up your account.

Once the new name server information is setup, it will now point to your new host when you type your domain name url in the browser.

Here is a place that compares price and features on hosting and Wordpress:

I personally use Westhost and am happy with their services and easy install of Wordpress.

Hope that helps.
