Make a pdf smaller without changing picture size and load onto a website?

I have created a pdf which is 23.4MB but it won't upload on to our website. Is there any way i can make it small enough to put up without having to change the size of the pictures? I have created it on Apple Pages and exported it as a PDF!Make a pdf smaller without changing picture size and load onto a website? If you just want to reduce your PDF file size without changing the pictures, there are still some methods for you to settle your problem with A-PDF Scan Optimizer, for example set smaller scale of pages, or cut page height or width and so on.

First, compress the photos. This leaves them the same size but much smaller physically. A nice free online service that does this is at http://www.imageoptimizer.net/Pages/Home鈥?/a> Do each photo individually and you will be impressed at the size reduction. Then, when you create the PDF it should be significantly smaller. TIP: If the photos are for viewing online, anything larger than 640x480 is likely a waste - you probably want the photos to be viewable on one screen - and if the photos are a meg or larger each, they're already too big for online viewing. Just my two cents... :) good luck.
