How to change website on GoDaddy?

I have saved a website to a folder on my computer

i used iweb to make it

I can't figure out how to upload this new website

I use GoDaddy and am in the Domain Manager

Someone else made the one that is currently up using dreamweaver (not sure if that matters)How to change website on GoDaddy?I use goDaddy too. What you need to do is get your files uploaded to your domain on goDaddy. You can use their hosting manager or your own ftp client (firefox's fireFTP is good) to upload them.

To use godaddy's ftp manager, you need to go to your Hosting Manager (not the Domain Manager - I know, their interface isn't the most intuitive..) - when you log in, it's on the left hand menu under My Products -%26gt; Hosting. Check your Hosting account (in the middle of the screen) and then select %26quot;Manage Account%26quot; to the right of the account name. This will open a new window which is the Hosting Control Center. Click on the Content bar which will open up that menu and you'll see their FTP client. You can use that to upload your files to the directory over on godaddy.

If you use another ftp program, you need to setup an ftp user under this same Hosting Control Center (it's under Settings -%26gt; FTP users).

Hope this helps - godaddy is hard to navigate when you don't have to that often. I always just try and remember to them hosting and domains are 2 completely separate management consoles.

About the only thing that matters about the old one is that you should download the entire site before you do anything else. (If your new site doesn't work, you may want to just replace the old site until you get the new one working.)

Use an FTP program (I use Filezilla - it's free and it's good). Download the entire site - all the files and all the folders. Then delete everything (on the site) and upload your new site. Connect to it with your browser. If you wrote it correctly you'll see the new site in your browser. (If not, and it'll take time to fix it, just delete the site and upload the old site for now.)
